Volunteer in North Brooklyn’s oldest park. Meet at the pavilion in the center of McGolrick Park (10AM – 12PM).

The Brooklyn Pollinator Project is a volunteer initiative founded and led by horticulturalist Jeff Hewitt, focused on supporting crucial pollinator plants that support our local ecosystem!

NYC’s Premier Rollerblading event is back at Under the K Bridge! This event is part of a multi-day, multi-location series throughout the city, featuring rollerblade competitions with merch giveaways, art, music, games, and more! Meet at
534 Steward Ave (12 PM – 7 PM).

With support from the Brooklyn Arts Council and partnerships with the North Brooklyn Parks Alliance and the Office of the Queens Borough President, these events serve thousands of New Yorkers and visitors every year, celebrating the foundations of Jamaican Soundsystem culture and reggae music, as well as vinyl DJ culture. Meet at Creekside, 470 Scott Ave (2PM – 7PM).

Join instructor Vivian Megias, for a free, hour-long, all-abilities Zumbas class. Shake off the day, break a sweat, and connect with neighbors. Meet at the Welcome Plaza at Meeker Ave & Van Dam St (7PM – 8PM). Stay for FIT SOCIAL – a DJ set and social hour from 8PM – 9PM.
